In my previous life, I was an illusionist. Nothing major, mostly close up and bar gags.

I had a subscription to IBM and that’s where I discovered Lance Burton. He had a gig in the Tropicana in Vegas and that’s where I met him in person. He was signing show programs.

I walked up and handed him a $5 Trop chip to sign. He said he had never signed a chip before, so when he did, I knew it was one of a kind. It would probably be worth a lot of $$ today because they tore down the Trop and gave Lance his own theater to perform in at the Monte Carlo.

At the time, he was married to “Melinda: The First Lady of Magic (Melinda Saxe)”. They soon divorced due to infidelity. It wasn’t Lance either. Mel was paying for sex with probably more than one male prostitute. I did hear the story from one of them which wouldn’t give up his name.

I had that signed chip in my magic bag for several years until a meth addicted bitch named Christina Vanhule burglarized my house in 2K4. She took everything she could cram in an Escalade to sell to satisfy her habit.

I did get some property back, but not the Lance Burton signed casino chip.

Vanhule is currently serving seven years in prison due to the fact that she is a felon and she robbed a cop’s house too taking his side arm. You can’t be a felon and be in control of a gun in King County without going up the river.

About the Author

I'm hooked on etymology, folklore, writing, live music, and making movies. I jam the axe and I'm currently learning how to beat the skins. I write cool software and meaningful screenplays. I like to drive fast with the top down in the rain with the music cranked. My tastes in TV, music, film, and literature are broad but obscure. I keep a journal, write screenplays, compose music, take many pictures, and create software. When camping at night, you can find me staring into the campfire either playing the guitar or telling a spooky story under the moonlight. I love thunder storms, Friday is my favorite day and my favorite number is 9.
